So- Who am I?
Ok, where was I? Sorry I do love to talk!
Ah, counselling training…
What this training does is nothing short of life changing- it breaks you open so you can peer inside and explore what is there, so you can thoroughly know yourself. This equips allows you to sit alongside others and help them to do something similar. The passions that were ignited to sit alongside those struggling with life issues were grown and built upon. Those natural skills of empathy, understanding, support and understanding were honed and refined and softened so that I could really, with honesty and authenticity, sit with other people and hold space for them and with them. Those questions I asked, were answered in more full ways than I can possibly have hoped for (or be able to describe here!)
3 years of training and having looked into the deepest recesses of my being, my history, my personality and patterns of bringing myself into relationships and I finally qualified as humanistic, integrative therapist. Since then I am a qualified fertility practitioner, a qualified deliverer of walking/outdoor therapy with more in the pipeline.
I am currently working with clients privately through this practice and with an organisation, counselling some of their clients. I am also sharing my passion for counselling with others and have become a tutor of level 2 and 3 students who are beginning their own journey of self discovery and knowing themselves fully. I am so privileged to be able to have this role and bear witness to those who are starting out in the field.

So, back to that original question- Who am I?
I am a humanistic, integrative counsellor (see the website for more on this). I work in a variety of ways: indoors, outdoors, with creative tools and without. I can work face to face- here in Swansea or online or the phone- from wherever you are.
I am an empathic counsellor, valuing the relationship that we will build and using that to help us explore what is going on for you and maybe even the things you weren’t expecting.
I am passionate about the work that I do and the people who come to use this as something to help them to make sense of things, whatever that might look like for you. And passionate about making a difference.
I am a tea obsessed, cardigan wearing (cliched I know), down to earth counsellor- It is important to me that you experience our journey together in exactly the way that you need to and know that I will be looking to meet you exactly where you are and how you are, just as you are.
